Jarno has been practicing Karate for over 25 years and instructing it for over 20 years in several dojos in Finland. He received his black belt in Karate in 2002. Jarno currently holds the 3rd dan black belt in Wadokai JKF. He also practices Kenjutsu (Koden Enshin Ryu).
Jarno has been serving as an officer in the Finnish Defence Forces for more than 15 years. He is currently a teacher at the National Defence University. Jarno’s motto is: “Don’t practice until you get it right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.”
Jarno has been teaching Wadoryu Karate to adults and children at Art Zenter Academy since 2018. You can reach him by email:
