Really good sensations from the last workshop celebrated at Art Zenter Academy on the 15th of November, 2025 where Guro David Muñoz was representing Kali Majapahit, and Sensei Jarkko Korhonen in reprensention of Kyusho Aiki Jutsu did a dynamic and unique 2 hours class.
This original combination of styles had the purpose to study how the two styles complement and enrich each other in order to get a fun and practical Martial Arts experience.
The workshop started with Guro David leading a short warm up and following with some defensive movements against hands attacks and countering with controls and take downs using the flexible weapon called “sarong” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarong). Meanwhile Sensei Jarkko was adding significant details from Karate and Kyusho experience and perspective to do the movements and techniques even more effective.
During the second part of the workshop Sensei Jarkko Korhonen was showing the group different techniques and movements, some of them from his background in the traditional Karate, with Kyusho applications. There were painful and no painful controls and pressure points in different parts of the body where the main objective was to find, to feel and to study the opponent body reactions.
